An abandoned and deteriorated property in the Kronenburg area in Deurne-North was demolished and replaced by a new building containing 11 apartments. The building was designed as a transition between the lower houses that are set back somewhat further on the left side, and the higher constructions on the right side. The building includes 8 apartments with 2 bedrooms, 2 duplex apartments, and 1 one-bedroom apartment. Each apartment has an individual outdoor space. The groundfloor apartment has an individual enclosed garden. The remaining green space is public accessible for all residents. At the entry zone, accentuated by the double-high cutout at the corner of the building, a passageway and view was created through to the common space. The bicycle parking and waste storage are located in this covered exterior passage.
